Three photos stamped "Photo Lab/USS Kearsarge CVS 33/ C/O FPO San Francisco," and "Official U.S. Navy Photography/Not for Publication/Unless Officially Released." A collection of three photos depicting water explosions, one with a ship in the distant background, one in the foreground, and one depicting two explosions in the water, with part of a ship's deck in the foreground. The fourth depicts the destroyer USS Bigelow. All in GOOD only condition, moderately curled, with some creasing and curling to the corners as well. Minor toning. Good .

With a fold out chart listing the staff of the Field Marshal Duke of Wellington. No map or plan present. An account of the battle of Waterloo, written as both a travel guide to the site, as well as providing a description of the battles. The lengthy appendix provides French and Spanish accounts of the fighting, a list of regiments under Wellington's command, and an alphabetical list of officers killed and wounded. GOOD condition with heavy fading to the spine and along the extremities. Minor soiling and scuffing, with a few scattered black ink speckles to the front and rear covers. Light bumping and wear along the extremities. Interior hinges weak but intact, with the text block solid. Scattered foxing and minor soiling throughout. Some wear along the fold out chart edges. Owner's name in pencil on the first endpaper, with a day chart in pencil to blank rear endpaper. Good/No Jacket.

A general but detailed history of the Civil War, including the battles of Bull Run, Antietam, Chancellorsville, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, etc. as well as many minor battles. With reminiscences and anecdotes of various individual soldiers. The work also chronicles the death and wounding of many generals, as well as the rosters of the regiment involved in the battles mentioned, listing the regiment numbers and those in command. An appendix in the rear provided a numerical accounting of those killed and wounded in the various battles. GOOD condition. Light fading to the covers, with minor soiling and scuffing. Very faint discoloration to the rear cover. Corners scuffed with a 2 inch split in the cloth at the lower front hinge. Head and tail of the spine frayed. Some soiling to the pages edges. Interior solid with scattered minor soiling and general toning to the paper. Small dark stain at the lower fore edge corner of the first 20+ pages. Good/No Jacket.
